P.O.P Trainer
The P.O.P Trainer provides a highly realistic environment for developing and refining laparoscopic surgical skills. Surgeons can practice repeatedly, build confidence, and master complex procedures without time pressure.
Develop precise depth perception and spatial orientation in 2D and 3D laparoscopic visualization
Master advanced instrument handling with realistic tactile feedback
Enhance hand-eye coordination for safe and efficient surgical performance
Refine fine motor skills and overcome fulcrum and lever effects of laparoscopic instruments
Perfect surgical techniques including suturing, knot tying, clipping, and tissue dissection
Improve atraumatic tissue handling and surgical precision
Train surgical teams, workflow optimization, and complication management
Practice standard and advanced laparoscopic procedures in a realistic operative setting
Practice standard and advanced robotic procedures
For clinical application in laparoscopic urology training such as partial nephrectomy, total nephrectomy, and pyeloplasty.
For ureterorenoscopy training, exercises on the POP focus on the endoscopic managing of urolithiasis.
The use of various guide-wires, baskets and intracorporeal lithotripters is possible on the P.O.P.

Training in Basic and Advanced Laparoscopic Urological Skills on the POP has been offered by the European School of Urology since 2008.
